L&T has developed and supplied avionics for the Indian Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) and Helicopter programmes.
Environment Control and Fuel Monitoring System (ECFM) is a combination of several compact electronic units comprising of ECFM-C (ECFM Controller), ECS-CP (ECFM Control Panel) and GRP (Ground Refueling Panel), which control the environment of the cockpit and the avionics bay on board a next generation fighter aircraft such as the Indigenous Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) being developed for Indian Armed Forces.
Cockpit Interface Unit (CIU) designed for use on board a next generation fighter aircraft, such as LCA being developed for the Indian Armed Forces, receives inputs from various switches installed in the cockpit, codes them and sends these coded inputs to the OAC (Open Architecture Computer) on MIL-STD-1553B AVIONICS bus.
Stand-by Engine Instrument (SEI) is a 3ATI AMLCD display installed in the cockpit of Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) & future Light Combat Helicopter (LCH). This instrument is designed to display different engine parameters and helps the pilot land safely in case of failure of Integrated Architecture Display System (IADS).
Integrated Stand-by Instrument System (Integrated SIS) is a 3ATI AMLCD Display installed in the cockpit of Light Utility Helicopter (LUH). Integrated SIS is used as an autonomous standby unit for display of attitude, air speed, baro-altitude, vertical speed and heading, in case of failure of Integrated Architecture Display System (IADS) or its related systems.
Integrated Life Support System (ILSS) consists of Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) comprising both electro-pneumatic and pneumatic types, working in coordination to offer protection to the pilot against hazards related primarily with hypoxia and rapid decompression.
