INFANTRY FIGHTING VEHICLE POWER PACK UPGRADES: We offer power pack solutions for various fighting vehicles. The BMP IFV Power Pack Upgrade Solution is one such solution, which includes a 400 HP electronic engine, automatic cross-drive transmission, indigenously designed cooling system and an air filtration system as a replacement for the original power pack.
The solution offers improved cooling for operation in the harshest desert conditions, higher power for enhanced mobility & maneuverability, cold start capability for wider operating temperature range, and a modular design for ease of maintenance & repairs. BMP-I & BMP-II vehicles, and their variants fitted with these power packs can also be operated using telemetry for unmanned missions.
ARMOURED FIGHTING VEHICLE FIREPOWER UPGRADES: We have extensive experience in the Fire Power upgrade of a variety of vehicles, including the V-150 Commando and Light Armoured System Upgrade (LARSU).
The upgrades have the following features:
- Ease of operation
- High reliability
- Simplicity of maintenance
- Ergonomic design
The upgrade is based on components which have been designed for Military Applications, and are compliant to MIL Standards. The system has been designed to bring about the following improvements to the existing turret:
- Night fighting capability, through the introduction of a Thermal Imaging Sight
- Improved engagement, through the introduction of an Electro-Optic Sight
- Power assisted gun laying, through the introduction of Electro-Mechanical Drives & Joystick
MAIN BATTLE TANK FIRE CONTROL UPGRADE: We offer solutions for the FCS upgrade of Main Battle Tanks. One such solution is an indigenously designed Thermal Imaging Fire Control System (TIFCS) designed to enable T-72 MBTs to effectively detect and engage ground targets in day & night conditions. This is achieved through a high performance thermal imager taking into consideration all the variables that affect the weapon's ballistics.
The salient attributes of the upgrade are:
- Increased detection, recognition and identification range in day and night with a long-wave Infrared (IR) Thermal Imager
- High hit probability through a ballistics computer with built-in auto correction for the gun position
- Accurate ballistics computation taking into account met data and temperature of the charge
- True fire-on-the-move using a superior independent dual-axis stabilised sight
- Fully functional back-up mode using the existing optical gunner sight and quantum range finder
- Modular design for ease of maintenance of the system
- Accurate gun and turret-laying with the original system drives
- Integrated firing capability for co-axial machine gun
- Gun laying and firing capability provided for both the Gunner and the Commander
- Primary and Emergency user modes
