L&T Heavy Engineering Recognised as Star Performer at EEPC National Export Awards

Mumbai:ÌýL&T Heavy Engineering (L&T HE) has been recognised as the Star Performer in large enterprises for the ‘Special Purpose Machinery’ category in 2019-20 and for the ‘General Purpose Machinery’ category in 2020-21 at the 52nd and 53rd editions respectively of the Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC) National Export Awards. The awards were presented by distinguished Chief Guest, Shri Manoj Sinha, Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor, UT of Jammu & Kashmir at an event held in New Delhi.

The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Abhijeet Sinha, CEO, National Highway for Electric Vehicles (NHEV) and Ms. Parul Singh, Deputy Secretary, Department of Commerce & Industry, Government of India (GoI). The award was accepted on behalf of L&T HE by Mr. Anil Parab, who serves as the Whole-Time Director & Sr. Executive Vice President for L&T Heavy Engineering and L&T Valves, Mr. Falgun Chokshi, Executive Vice President of Process Plant & Nuclear Equipment Business, Mr. Milan Raskapoorwala, General Manager & Head of RPV PBU, and Mr. G Ramachandra Kamath, Head of HEIC Corporate Centre.

Commenting on the awards, Mr. Anil Parab, Whole-Time Director & Sr. Executive Vice President (L&T HE and L&T Valves) said, “Winning the National Export Excellence Awards for the years 2019-20 & 2020-21 is a special honour. Our journey was distinguished by resilience as we faced unprecedented challenges from pandemic-induced lockdowns and travel restrictions as well as social distancing-triggered capacity losses. I would like to dedicate these awards to our devoted engineers, workmen and their families for their continuous support. Their combined efforts ensured that customers received uninterrupted services throughout this difficult phase. This award honors their faith, spirit of perseverance and teamwork that characterise our strength.â€
